I'm in Las Vegas through Tuesday, and don't have my spreadsheets...but the rules are picks are locked in at kickoff of the first game of the round. I just got back from Vegas last night. Last I heard, about 8 weeks or so ago, I believe, they finally finished fishing that one CAT5 line from Barstow all the way to Vegas and so now they have internet on one street corner just south of the strip near Tropicana Bl. If you were in the city, then there is no excuse for your performance, or lack of it, in the Douche tournament. You had access to the internet. I SMITE YOU !! |

I just got back from Vegas last night. Last I heard, about 8 weeks or so ago, I believe, they finally finished fishing that one CAT5 line from Barstow all the way to Vegas and so now they have internet on one street corner just south of the strip near Tropicana Bl. Besides, I wasn't actually in "Vegas" although the Army was guarding the airport and other sites for New Years. I ran across a young soldier dressed in camo in the gas station waiting in line to buy energy drinks, slim jims, etc. I thanked him for his service and had a very nice conversation. His unit was down from Reno on duty at the airport. When he started paying for his stuff I told him to put his money away and handed the cashier a 100 dollar bill. He was genuinely blown away. I was next in line after he left and the lady cashier said, "You sure don't see that very often." I spent around $15 but what I got in return was priceless. |
