I like this list better. Surprised to see Boise State at #14. Hmmm... some differences in the order, but still pretty much the same names up there, especially in the top 10.

I like this list better. Surprised to see Boise State at #14. Hmmm... When I noticed Boise State on the list, I changed my search to Current FBS & Yearly FBS which requires teams to be FBS for the 1964-2014 time period. Boise State wasn't FBS for the whole time so they dropped off the list. Boise State's FBS only record: College Football Trivia Team records for Boise St. Years 1964-2014 Split Years Showing Actual Game Results Sorting by Year ascending Pos Year Team Record 1. 1996 Boise St. (2-10-0)--0.16667 2. 1997 Boise St. (4-7-0)--0.36364[1]* 3. 1998 Boise St. (6-5-0)--0.54545 4. 1999 Boise St. (10-3-0)--0.76923 5. 2000 Boise St. (10-2-0)--0.83333 6. 2001 Boise St. (8-4-0)--0.66667 7. 2002 Boise St. (12-1-0)--0.92308 8. 2003 Boise St. (13-1-0)--0.92857 9. 2004 Boise St. (11-1-0)--0.91667 10. 2005 Boise St. (9-4-0)--0.69231 11. 2006 Boise St. (13-0-0)--1.00000 12. 2007 Boise St. (10-3-0)--0.76923 13. 2008 Boise St. (12-1-0)--0.92308 14. 2009 Boise St. (14-0-0)--1.00000 15. 2010 Boise St. (12-1-0)--0.92308 16. 2011 Boise St. (12-1-0)--0.92308 17. 2012 Boise St. (11-2-0)--0.84615 18. 2013 Boise St. (8-5-0)--0.61538 19. 2014 Boise St. (12-2-0)--0.85714 (189-53-0)--0.78099* As a reasonable check, the following is Boise State's record against D1A teams only from 1964-2014: College Football Trivia Team records for Boise St. Years 1964-2014 Opponents from division IA Showing Actual Game Results Pos Team Record 1. When this gets updated after the 15 season, Club 400 will likely expand to include Auburn, LSU, and Miami. That would bring the tote to 17, the cream of the crop of the modern era.

It was less about them not being FBS and more surprise that they were on the list at all. I had actually forgotten that they had just recently moved up but never realized they were successful enough to have that many wins.

I like this list better. Surprised to see Boise State at #14. Hmmm... I would think both Fla and tOSU would like it better if you just used 1993 as a stating yr to better represent the college elite. As an aside Wisky didn't field a team from 1964 to 1992 so I selected '93 as a starting modern era date. www.cfbtrivia.com/cfbt_percent.php?fromyear=1993&thruyear=2014&tIA=on&sortby=Wins&desc=on&curr=on&hist=on1. Ohio St. (214-54-1)--0.79740 [1] 2. Nebraska (212-72-0)--0.74648 3. Florida (211-70-1)--0.75000 4. Florida St. (208-63-1)--0.76654 [2] 5. Virginia Tech (207-75-0)--0.73404 6. Oregon (200-76-0)--0.72464 6. Oklahoma (200-80-1)--0.71352 8. Texas (199-78-2)--0.71685 9. Wisconsin (195-83-4)--0.69858 [3] 10. LSU (193-82-1)--0.70109 10. Georgia (193-83-1)--0.69856 12. Boise St. (190-52-0)--0.78512 [4] 13. Auburn (187-86-1)--0.68431 14. Miami (FL) (186-85-0)--0.68635 14. Kansas St. (186-88-1)--0.67818 16. Penn St. (185-87-0)--0.68015 17. Michigan (184-90-0)--0.67153 18. USC (183-78-2)--0.69962 [5] 18. Tennessee (183-92-0)--0.66545 [6] 20. BYU (182-96-0)--0.65468 that's funny. i could swear i sat thru quite a few badger games at the shoe since '77, as well as a couple up in madison in the 80s. that includes one 6-0 osu loss in columbus in '82 thru a steady downpour that was one of the most boring, miserable games i've ever seen in person. the bucks' 3rd straight loss that season (1st such streak since ww2), all at home (1st and only time that's ever happened in program history, i believe). brent offenbacher was the qb, and the goose-egg they put up convinced earle bruce to re-instate mike tomczak under center, who led osu to 7 straight wins to finish the season.

Since I've gotten handy doing searches, is there interest in seeing the club 400 head to head: most wins; most games; winning percentage?
I can do the club 800 if there is interest in that one too.

I'm interested. Stats are funEspecially when you cherry pick 'em to get that little tingly feeling down your leg...when you ignore 80 years of history because your team sucked. We had a poster on the old boards who did that...once even picked a date in the middle of the season so his team could be #1 on his list. Cherry-pickers are funny like that.

And OSU fans don't cherry pick when they limit UF's schedule to only games played against non SEC schools and only if the game is not played in the state of Florida? Don't be so self-righteous Dale, all fans do it, and it is fun. Oh, and BTW, telling a Bama fan that they ignore history because they sucked is f-ing hilarious.
