When one isn't running for a Republican nomination for something, climate change apparently becomes the real deal. Instead of continuing to hurl political snowballs at it, to his credit, Rick Perry has changed his mind. Mr. Perry, unless he is BSing the committee, met with those he will be in charge of, and comes to Jesus.....He now claims he has a different view of things and regrets much of what he previously said about the science of global warming. www.nytimes.com/2017/01/19/us/politics/confirmation-hearings-cabinet-donald-trump.html?_r=0Next step....quit equivocating about what to do. "...Peter C. Frumhoff, director of science and policy at the Union of Concerned Scientists, said the cabinet selections s were engaged in “mischaracterization of scientific uncertainty to avoid accepting the urgency of reducing emissions is a dangerous distraction from addressing this serious global threat...."

Your party is being bred out of existence, Walt. There's no one under 70 in leadership and no presidential hopefuls anywhere on the horizon. Your party is dead for at least the next two generations. Way to go!

He said the climate is changing. He did NOT say man had anything to do with it. So do you agree that the same amount of money being wasted should be spent on proving that climate change is a NATURAL THING? WE have the same right to prove that you Chicken Littles are WRONG.
You liberals make stupid studies all the time. You SAY something is happening for a specific reason, THEN you try to make the evidence fit your prejudice. That is NOT real science, bubba.

They will say anything to get the fools to believe them. In this case, the fools are the jokers who think man causes climate change. Once he is sworn in, Perry can dump that lie.

Well, man was screwing up the atmosphere with the CFC which could effect the climate, maybe. Man's influence on the climate - <1% The Sun's influence on the climate - >99% (My numbers as a self-appointed climate expert) Time to ban the Sun.
