Interesting read

I hope my reason for posting this is not misconstrued as a defense of Sandusky or anyone at PSU but I thought it was good to offer up a perspective on how blind people can be to abuse and the lengths they go to defend their reasons for not doing something about it when the signs are obvious. And it all seems to stem from two things... fame and money, or both.

Note: Pretty long read but chapter one speaks very clearly to the point I am trying to make.

People believe what they want to believe. The parents of that girl in Connecticut are real scumbags imo...they pimped out their own daughter.

Couldn't agree more, even to the point of giving up their bedroom to the guy and their daughter while trusting that they weren't having sex. Just sick.
