"You are not special." --David McCullough, Jr.
Here is a plain old thread (pot) dedicated to Oklahoma State University football. Read it or not.

Glad to have another team board to read. Harry won't like it, but I look forward to keeping up with Oklahoma State Cowboys football.

Houston is crazy for GHWB--even though, actually, he is a Connecticut Yankee

Starting qb J.W. Walsh injured his foot during the first quarter of the Missouri State game. Walsh spent the rest of the game wearing a walking boot and hobbling around on crutches. It doesn't look good for him to return soon (will miss 4-6 weeks, maybe more if he needs surgery). Back up qb Daxx Garman took over and played well. The Missouri State game was the first game he has played in five years. Garman transferred from Arizona where he was third string qb behind Nick Foles and the number two qb Bryan?
Garman has an interesting background. See the video below and note the controversy during his high school career at Jones, Ok and Texas Southlake Carroll:

Well, Daxx Garman is the guy. Starting quarterback J.W. Walsh had foot surgery and might miss the rest of the season. Daxx Garman will take the field Saturday against UT-San Antonio. UTSA head coach Larry Coker was an offensive coordinator at Oklahoma State where he coached Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders.

Yes, I feel bad for Walsh. He seems like a nice guy.

It must be nice to have a HC who knows how to get more than one QB ready play.
