Has anyone done something neat and tasty with large Green Tomatoes and a bunch of small ones? End of the year here in ST L. Toms are still growing but they're not ripening.

I have had a historically bad year for tomatoes. I only have 2 or 3 smallish greens left on the vines....not enough to mess with.

Nodda....I deep-six'd what was left of my vines bout 3 weeks ago...they just (basically) threw in the towel and I put them out their misery....

Slice them thin, dip them in milk, roll in a mix of corn meal and flour, redip and reroll, and fry those suckers! Yumm Yumm.

After watching that vid clip, I'll stick to Cowboy's suggestion. I once had a partner in PR try that on his young secretary at a pkg show in San Juan, using a commercial pckging bundler. Works on a 5'10" 135 lb youngen. NOTHING was hidden and she had a dress underneath. Not so much with Kathy Bates.
