Should we petition for a name change for this part of the board? From NCAA Stuff to Pity the Paternos?

Should we petition for a name change for this part of the board? From NCAA Stuff to Pity the Paternos? 15 subjects/threads per page... first two pages, 24 of 30 started by our boy looking for pity for the Paternos or pointing out some lame BS about the NCAA. After page 3, 33 / 45. Page 4, 43 / 60. Page 5, 55 / 75 Only five posts on page 6, the beginnings, and four of those five... Total is 59 out of 80.
I vote for a name change, and moving those "off" subjects to another area.

At no time has the litle whiner shown any concern or remorse for the children that PSU administration and coaches allowed to be sexually abused by one of their own.

i mean it was very possibly the most controversial ruling in the history of the NCAA. most of the stuff i post relates to legal cases involving the ncaa and their decision. if i wanted to just listen to people who only agreed with me, i would save my opinions for penn state only message boards. no one is forced to respond to what i say...or even read it....

On here you have paid lip service to the victims and basically tried to distance Penn State and Joe Paterno from them....."Sandusky is an ex-employee"......"the NCAA overstepped"...."Paterno was an old man"........"Penn State has no connection to Third Mile"......and on and on and on.

I'm basing my opinion on your posts, not the "prevailing narrative"....whatever the hell that is. For you, on here, seems to me that you put the victims way down on the list.
You seem to believe that all of this criminal shit went down with Sandusky while he was inside the football program, yet you don't see how the football program protected him all along the way.
The football program was the public face of Penn State. Joe Paterno was the face of the program. Every TV appearance, bowl win, etc. leads to increased alumni support and donations. Protecting the football program protected the Penn State brand and led to more $$.
Penn State bent over backward to be "humane" to Sandusky...they did all they could do to ensure that it all stayed in house. Yes, it was more Curley, Schultz, Spanier but Paterno and his hands off approach also have responsibility. You don't see that.....you try to excuse Paterno every step of the way....."he was old"....."McQueary wasn't clear enough"......"his was 3rd party knowledge"......"he didn't know about 1998".....and on and on.

So those examples from BWI I referenced in the other thread, you're saying you agree with them then? And you may have noticed, I very rarely respond to what you say on this subject, because I very rarely read it. But by reading the other responses, others obviously share those feelings. Feel the taint?
