LOL and blah, blah, blah. OU lost to Florida last year in Gainesville, didn't hear any complaints from you about home cooking back then. Gee, go figure.
I'll just say what KJ Kindler said last season, it felt like a Gator win to me. In 2018, the meet was close just like it turned out to be in the NCAAs even without UF's Kennedy Baker. It took OU getting all-time historically high scores, not just season high scores, for OU to get to 198.325. The sooners won't get that scoring anywhere except at home. The judges intended for OU to win, but I don't think they intended on the final .3 difference. The scoring was made on floor to give OU the win after a lower than normal OU beam score even with another mistake on the floor which didn't happen, say stepping out of bounds on a tumbling pass. The last 3 sooner scores on the floor were better than any scores given to the Gators. That will not happen in the NCAAs as UF is every bit as good as the sooners on the floor. The sooner floor score was higher than any sooner team had ever recorded. Sorry, but OU ain't that good. When your team wins, you claim it's because of God, hot dogs and apple pie. When they lose, it's because the got cheated. Last year in Gainesville, in order to win, the Gators got EXACTLY the points they needed on the final event. Who woulda thunk it? Of course, had nothing to do with home cooking, all totally deserved, right? Give me a break and stop your whining.

BS, not true. I said last season that it would be very close in Gainesville and it was. I said in the NCAAs that it would be an upset for anybody to beat OU and it was done by UCLA. I said UF even without Kennedy Baker would compete, but not for the national championship. As it turned out, 3rd two years in a row wasn't bad. I couldn't have been more proud of the fight in the 2018 Gators performing against the best of the best shorthanded. I'm not complaining because OU won this season. I expected the sooners to win. What I take exception to is the margin of the win at .3 and the obvious uneven judging to achieve it. OU's all-time high on the floor was a transparent attempt to make sure the sooners won at home. In the rankings, OU gets to count a ridiculously high score at 198.325. It'll be interesting to see if the judging is as transparent when UCLA goes to Norman on 3/3 in an ESPN nationally televised meet. The gymnastics world and casual fans will be watching.

Following KJ Kindler's lead, congrats to UF. It felt like a win to me. Attaboy, Willie. What a difference the road and a week make: OU 197.70 in win at Denver. Congrats on winning without home judges inflated scores.

What a difference the road and a week make: OU 197.70 in win at Denver. Congrats on winning without home judges inflated scores. Attaboy, Willie. As a reminder, this is what I said about the judging in Gainesville last year: "My complaint about the judging is the results were too high for the routines for both teams. In that regard, it was at least called fairly. Both teams are outstanding, but what I witnessed live and in replay is that both teams were probably about .35 to .50 higher than they should have scored. I think at times in the meet that the judging got a bit loose for what was actually happening on the floor because so many of the routines were end of the year good for both teams". In Norman, it was true for both again, but one-sided higher in favor of Oklahoma. Florida has the highest road score of the season produced in Norman. At least the Gators score was closer to realistic unlike the sooner score. I congratulate Florida for what felt like a win from my perspective. That terminology was good enough for KJ Kindler last year so it is good enough for me this year. You are just looking to make a mountain out of a molehill. Didn't you say something like that to me last year when I pointed out KJ Kindler's comment and that she didn't congratulate Florida?

After the meet, the OU announcers teed up a softball that KJ Kindler refused to hit. The lead in question was about the perception that such a great meet had on women gymnastics with the excellent performances of Florida and Oklahoma. Kindler, true to her self absorbed comments and offering no recognition for Florida, refused to hit it. She talked about her team only and said not a word about Florida and how great the meet was for the sport. You expect me to congratulate OU women's gymnastics? It isn't going to happen as it hasn't two years in a row with KJ Kindler and especially so with what I watched with my own eyes in the out of touch with reality scoring. The issue here is you making a mountain out of a molehill of my assessment of OU and the meet. I'm bored with your empty posts. You take the last word, you will anyway.....
