i'm going to the 76ers/warriors game Monday nite. Sixers are likely to get a top 3 or 4 pick this year. Was thinking of bringing a sign that says "let's lack hustle for d'angelo russell." will take a pic and post if I can.

Got to watch Russell play in person last night vs Penn St. The kid just has an insane amount of talent. Penn St does not the talent level between ohio state and penn state is obviously wide. but penn state has more talent than they did during the end of the ed dechellis era but they don't have a proven coach. credit ohio state's defense...they did a great job defending and frustrating dj newbill all game. when dj is off his game, psu struggles as they don't have another guy who is willing to step up. next year is actually penn state's top recruiting class ever...they are ranked 28th nationally (6th in the big ten) and the nabbed the top player from maryland josh reaves. www.pennlive.com/sports/index.ssf/2014/11/a_monumental_day_for_penn_stat.html. we will see if they can sort of keep that recruiting momentum going forward. here's a cool article i just read on dangelo russell....http://grantland.com/the-triangle/whos-that-guy-ohio-states-dangelo-russell/ could fit in well with the 76ers. i like michael carter williams, especially his defense. but he doesn't have the instincts that russell has. |
