... don't know if anyone has caught the espn 'i hate christian laettner' 30 for 30 that aired a few weeks ago. i'm sitting at a panera getting some work done during lunch, and a guy 4 tables away from me is wearing an 'i still hate christian laettner' shirt. lol. i'm assuming he's a uk fan, since it's a royal blue shirt. amazing.

You haven't been around many UK fans if you think that's surprising. well, i was at the uk-notre dame regional final in cleveland a few weeks ago. took my mom, who grew up in kentucky. it was the first wildcat game she'd seen since '57. so i saw upwards of 8-10k cat fans... none of them that i saw were hating on laettner that night, at least not visibly. my surprise was that anyone was wearing the shirt now.

You haven't been around many UK fans if you think that's surprising. well, i was at the uk-notre dame regional final in cleveland a few weeks ago. took my mom, who grew up in kentucky. it was the first wildcat game she'd seen since '57. so i saw upwards of 8-10k cat fans... none of them that i saw were hating on laettner that night, at least not visibly. my surprise was that anyone was wearing the shirt now. In the Tourny, UK fans had other fish to fry, but during offseason and so on, they have a palpable Duke hatred, and Laettner is a convenient symbol.

I saw a t-shirt last weekend that I thought was cool... "85 yards through the heart of the South" Yeah, and the tag/stamp says "Made in USA"
