Wowzer! Arizona State sent LSU to the losers bracket with a 1-0 win in Red Stick. I'd be shocked if LSU gets eliminated in a home regional.
Edit: LSU came back with 2 wins over Arizona State on Sunday to win the regional.

Seeds 1 - 14 advanced.
15 seed James Madison was beaten by North Carolina State.
16 seed Notre Dame was beaten by Kentucky.
I can't call these regionals upsets as both NC State and UK are very good teams. 1 seed Florida swept UK during the regular season, but they were close games. 2 seed Oregon didn't play NC State, but they are going to find out that the wolfpack is a tough team. UF played NC State twice winning both in close games. While I expect both Florida and Oregon to advance, both UK and NC State are capable of stretching the weekend out to 3 games.

Florida vs. Tennessee starts the CWS today. Might have to root for Florida since their coach is an OU grad.

UF's assistant coach who handles the pitching staff came from Oklahoma too. She and Tim Walton have been together at UF for 10 years.

WCWS Game 1 went to UF with the Gators beating the vols 7-2.
Lauren Haeger, UF's softball national player of the year, picked up her 70th career win and hit her 69th career homerun. The 69 homeruns is an SEC record. Lauren has been alone in the 60/60 club, but she'll have the chance to raise the bar to the 70/70 club in the WCWS double elimination event.

Game 4: (7) UCLA 7; (2) Oregon 1
Day one was completed the way it was played all day, 4 blowouts - 7-2/6-1/5-0/7-1. If football, that's the equivalent of 42-12/36-6/30-0/42-6.
UCLA faces Michigan in the winners bracket on Friday and Oregon faces Alabama in the losers bracket on Saturday.

Game 5: (1) Florida 4; (5) LSU 0
Lauren Haeger moved from the 1 person 60/60 club to a 1 person 70/70 club in softball when she hit her 70th career homerun while picking up her 71st career victory. What Lauren Haeger has in common with Babe Ruth:

Game 6: (3)Michigan 10; (7) UCLA 4
Florida and Michigan move in the winners bracket to the Sunday afternoon semifinal to face the winners of Saturdays loser bracket games.
The Auburn vs. Tennessee winner plays bracket crossover UCLA for a chance to eliminate Florida.
LSU does a bracket crossover to play the winner of the Alabama vs. Oregon game for a chance to eliminate Michigan.
Florida and Michigan advance to the best 2 of 3 championship series starting on Monday night with 1 win. To eliminate Florida and Michigan, the teams advancing to the semifinal through the losers bracket must win twice on Sunday.
