Wisconsin Badgers forward Ethan Happ tested out the waters at the next level, but he announced on Wednesday that he will return to UW for his final season. Last season, Happ led Wisconsin last season in scoring (17.9 points per game), rebounding (8.0 rebounds), assists (3.7), steals (49 overall), and blocks (35 overall). The first-team All-Big Ten honoree by the media was also named a 2018 NABC second-team All-District selection.

Jeez 8 or so games ago they were roadkill. Sort of. Second scorer quits the team because his feelings got hurt and he wasn't the leading scorer. They have no go to star. B1G BB co-champs for sure, maybe champs after today. Hard to be believe.

Oh my, where the hell did this performance come from. Beating NC by over 20 was a surprise. Raining threes, blocking 8 shots, grabbing rebounds, hustling for loose balls. Wow.

Team came back into earth’s atmosphere v a pretty good Baylor team. But the men’s hockey team snagged a 1 seed to go along w the woman’s 1 seed. ]

Team was picked for 10 in the B1G this season and maybe that's where they will end up. But so far, NSM. They have what probably will be a two and done soph who is really talented and has the physical tools to advance, along w a great student of the game mind and an end of the game, give me the ball mentality. Game V #3 Purrrdu, at Purdue, (Wisconsin 74, Purdue 69: Johnny Davis and Brad Davison lead UW to a stunning upset of the No. 3 Boilermakers) showed they have the ability to compete, if they play Wisky D hard, protect the ball, hustle for the 50/50 balls and mix it up a bit physically. They beat a pretty good Boilermaker team and Johhny Davis hit for 37. So far he has somewhat mastered that mid-range turn to the baseline when doubled, fade jumper. Passes well, plays D hard and even blocks a cpl. Though they are a really young club and w that youth will have an up and down season, I think they may do OK this yr in the B1G. We'll see. COVID may a word or two. But today, On Wisconsin, as they welcome a rugged Iowa club on Thursday.

Wisky squeaked by on the road v Indy. Davis is pretty good. 20th win. 17 in 20 seasons. They have had 10+ b1g wins 19 of the last 21 seasons. Pretty consistent. No one in the b1g can match that. On Wisconsin.

saw the last 10:00 or so after the tosu-minnesota game. badgers and hoosiers were more than a little chippy that's for sure. davis and davison were huge... they didn't get much help but they were enough. on iu's side, any possession that doesn't include getting the ball to jackson-davis should mean the other 4 guys on the floor get bench. he is a handful, and awful good.

Picked for 10th in the B1G preseason the Badgers beat Purrrrdu at home to earn a share of the 21/22 B1G BB season. Beat Nebraska, at home, on Sunday and they are this season’s B1G Champs. Solo. Just win baby. On Wisconsin. Gard gotta be the B1G COY. Maybe even National COY. Jo Davis as POY should get some play but that team is a team of more than 1 player.

Wisconsin clinched at least a share of the 2022 Big Ten championship, marking the Badgers’ second league title in three seasons and the 20th in school history.

The Badgers (20) trail only Purdue (24) and Indiana (22) for most conference titles in league history.

With two Big Ten championships during his tenure, Greg Gard joins Tom Izzo (10) and Matt Painter (two) as the only active coaches with multiple Big Ten titles.

Wisconsin has won six Big Ten regular season titles since 2000 (2002, 2003, 2008, 2015, 2020 and 2022), trailing only Michigan State (eight) for the most titles during that span.

With 24 wins (so far), this season matches the tenth highest win total in school history and the second highest win total under Gard.

UW is now 15-4 in the Big Ten, the most conference wins in the Gard era. The Badgers have won 15 Big Ten wins for just the third time in program history.
Wisconsin has won at least 14 Big Ten games for the third time in the last four seasons, the only team that can make that claim.

The Badgers are 5-3 and teams ranked in the AP Top-25 this season.

UW is now 16-4 in Quad 1 and 2 games. Only Baylor (17) has more.

Wisconsin improved to 15-1 this season in games decided by six or fewer points.

The Badgers have won 15 consecutive games decided by two possessions or less. That is the longest the longest streak in Div. 1 since the three-point line was added in 1986.

With 16 points against Purdue, Johnny Davis has now scored in double figures in 26 of 27 games this season.

Freshman Chucky Hepburn finished with a career-high 17 points, including the game-winning three-pointer with 1.2 seconds remaining. He went 4-for-6 from three-point range.

Junior Tyler Wahl notched 19 points on 8-for-14 shooting and had a career-high five steals.
