We should start a pool about how it is the Cavs are going to screw this up, because come on....This is Cleveland...you KNOW it's going happen.
The fun is in guessing HOW? Will it be a Bartman type of interaction with a fan? Will it be injury? Will a starter get arrested just prior to game 3? Maybe 2 flagrants and an ejection? 3-45 from the field?
It HAS to be something! But WHAT???

Should be an interesting NBA Finals series. I may have to watch the NBA for the first time in a few years.
It's good to see two relative "newcomers" slugging it out, for a change.
Nothing against Golden State, but I'd like to see Cleveland win this one.
Could be Ohio's year, in more ways than one.

The Chicago Bulls took their toll on the Cavs and they have been injured since....Yes, the Cavs swept the Hawks but (again) not w/o injury...The Cavs are a pretty beat up team right now and LeBron has taken a serious beating in this series....they are resting and healing right now but will it be enuff ?

This series may actually pry me out of my "I refuse the watch the NBA" hole. If I ever do catch a few minutes of a game, it usually involves LeBron and I love that he went home to Ohio (in the end, dont we all go home to Ohio? Ha.) so the storyline is there but throw in arguably the most fun player to watch in Steph Curry and it may be too much to pass up. Hmmmm....

Lived thru Red Right 88, The Drive, The Fumble, The Shot, Mesa's blown save, the NL Umps handing the Braves a WS, the Red Sox comeback, LeBron leaving. Been thru it all. With 1 second left in game 7, Cavs up 2, Lebron will miss a FT, Curry rebounds, tosses it 80 feet and swish. Golden St wins

The City of Cleveland has gone 51 years and 143 seasons. Thats combined total of the Browns, Indians, Cavs, and short lived Barons seasons since the city has last won a championship. The next longest streak is San Diego, which is at 103 seasons and 47 years.

Many of the talking heads on TV have the Warriors winning it in 6 as does Vegas___I like the the underdog role here and hope the Cavs embrace it as well

Many of the talking heads on TV have the Warriors winning it in 6 as does Vegas___I like the the underdog role here and hope the Cavs embrace it as wellmost of the media loved lebron coming back home, but then moved on to the next new cool thing, and that was 1. steph curry lighting it up. a little guy from davidson winning the mvp. 2. steve kerr taking over for mark jackson and leading the warriors back to the top of the west for the first time since nate thurmond days. kerr was respected as a player and as a tv analyst, so he's a fave for those who cover the association. 3. reporters ALWAYS love offense over defense. never fails, never changes. it's why reporters don't change professions and live in vegas much. lol dellavadova doesn't have the foot speed to hang w/golden state's guards over the course of a game, and irving is still gimpy but a week off his feet, i hope, will do a lot of good. but a combo of james, shumpert et al and that height/length advantage helping out on the perimeter? that might slow down curry/thompson enough to give the cavs a legit shot. green vs cleveland's bigs, especially thompson, will be fun to watch. i think it goes the distance. and don't discount lebron's playoff experience. that should come in handy too with all the newbies on both squads.
