well, the first two games have been entertaining. and close. i don't think cleveland can expect to keep shooting 32% and win another game, let alone the series. i would think kerr will continue to lean toward a smaller line up, which forces blatt to either go small w/o mozgov or play the big guy and risk some mobility problems on defense. going small means smith and shumpert must pick up their games on offense. don't see the warriors changing much on how they're defending james (stay 1x1), but i expect to see them try more things to free up curry. i like that blatt has switched up delle, shumpert, james et al on him. dellavenova has gotten some praise for his play, deserved, but he can't take him on alone the entire game. just like lebron cannot continue to be the main option on 90% of the possessions on offense. the cavs had never won a game in the finals til sunday. they've never won a game in the finals at home. great time to get that out of the way tonite.

Good points, all of them. I think that these type of scenarios can bring the best outa players and it's always captivating to see less-than-superstars elevate themselves and define team victory from it ....I just hope the refs are better than they were in Game 2...That was disgraceful.....Almost game time

96-91reax from last night 1. i'm tired. was up til 1:00 am watching the game and post-game coverage. 1st ever finals win at home will do that. lol 2. the superlatives for lebron james cannot be overstated. he's done something no one has EVER done in the 1st 3 games of a nba finals. 123 pts (41/game), along w/12 rebounds/8+ assists average. those numbers are from another solar system. 3. the team defense the cavs have played is amazing. they're basically playing tressel ball. walking the ball up on every possession. running the shot clock down under :05 nearly every possession. that's limited the warriors' possessions. plus guys like thompson, and mozgov, and shumpert and smith are helping james and dellavenova on extending pressure on curry/thompson outside the 3 point line, and winning the rebound game. 4. not only did delly play d, and get on the floor, but his 20 points was about 10 more than i expected from him, and that was the difference holding off gs's late run. 5. it's ironic that cleveland is getting a lot of press on how they've taken control of the tone of the game, and has been the more physical team. because draymont green's picks could all be called offensive fouls, and when delly was on the floor late in the 4th, david lee flew his body, knees first, into delly's back/ribs. should have been a flagrant-2. if that had happened on the street it would have been simple assault. i think the warriors, knowing how short the cavs' bench is, are doing everything they can to take out another player or two. delly went to the hospital after the game needing iv treatment. shumpert got a stinger in his left shoulder after one of green's road blocks. blatt had to use mike miller last night, who should be well rested since he hasn't contributed or played nearly all season. the cavs only played 7 players last night... by the end of the series they may only have 7 players in uniform. 6. the warriors are getting very little production from their bigs. relying on outside shooting and fast breaks can win lots of regular season games, but if cleveland continues to dictate tempo, guys like green and barnes and bogut have to get some points. lee got 10+ pts in about 10 minutes last night. he'll be playing more the remainder of the series. 7. curry getting hot in the 4th (i think he had 3-4 3's just in the last 2:00) was both scary and a thing of beauty. he's fun to watch. but so far in the series, he and thompson have not been hot at the same time. that needs to continue if you're a cavs fan. 8. j.r. smith will need to be a bigger scoring option, because you can't expect another 20 from delly. 9. the officiating in this series has been awful. it is the toughest job in sports, no doubt, but seeing so much contact on the floor w/o controlling the players? that has to change... and that's going both ways for both teams. 10. overstating what can't be overstated enough; lebron james is doing something historic in nba history right now. there are a lot of people outside ohio who, for the first time this am, now think cleveland has a great shot to win the series.

good recap. god i wish these games didn't end so late.
my buddy is pretty bitter this morning b/c he bet $300 on golden state -1. i told him not to b/c cleveland would be playing with a lot of emotion, as it's their first finals game in a while.
the big ? for the rest of the series is if cleveland can keep up the defensive intensity for just two more wins. as a neutral observer, i'm just ecstatic at how exciting the games have been.

Stamina is a question, but with the time between games (especially the spring vaca between games 1 & 2...) I don't see how a PROFESSIONAL athlete can not be ready. I'd GUESS that the cramps/dehydration will be addressed, and all team members will be properly hydrated for the rest of the series...we shall see. This could get exciting.

We've grown so accustomed to having fully-equipt locker rooms with medical staff, that perhaps we minimize what it actually takes to recover from 4 qtrs. of intense play...Re-hydration is no small thing Dale....they stick a couple needles in you and you sit there for sometimes HOURS while yer body recovers....Serious stuff....Not to mention muscle fatigue and normal aches/ pains....sure, they are pros but they sure take a beating also...Just sayin....

LeBron starts the 4th qtr on the bench, perhaps give Joe Harris those 4 minutes and spot him up for set shots. Blatt has to use more of his bench particularly using Marion when David Lee comes in.. ....Urban Meyer was at the game and must have enjoyed seeing all the blocking and tackling last night
