Great 4-2 win at Toronto. Blue jays came into the game 21-5 in August and had scored 29 runs in a 3 game weekend sweep of Detroit. Salazar looked strong w 10 k's, shaw got a hold and Allen got a too exciting but I'll take it 4 out save. Tribe also hopped another team (Baltimore) in the wildcard standings. 4 1/2 games behind Texas, who's trailing the Padres 2-0 in the 4th.
Baby steps. Keep taking baby steps. Can we pick up 1 or 2 games a week???

Can we pick up 1 or 2 games a week??? I was hoping we could get that number to 3 by 9/1/15. Texas has played well the last few weeks. But you want September to have meaningful games. We've got it. They'll all carry huge weight. If we can get 2 out of 3 in Toronto, that would be nice. |

Gomes just rocketed his 2nd hr of the night! Ties it up at 3 in the 9th. Almonte followed w a triple up the gap in right center but they couldn't get him in. Man they are scrapping. Well not enough magic tonite. Goons hits a no doubter 2 run shot in the 10th. 5-3 Toronto. Great game. Shaw hung a curve ball and out it went. Tribe hits 3 solo shots, and also hit 2 doubles and a triple but left all 3 on base. Series rubber game tomorrow. Didn't get to see any of tonites game, but as you might expect Toronto jumped on Trevor Bauer early for 5 in the first couple innings and r.a. Dickey's knuckled made the lead stand up. 5-1. Just 3 or 4 hits for the tribe tonite. Bauer has not been good the 2nd half of the season. I'm wondering if tito's toying with replacing him in the rotation, maybe w Mcallister or one of the Columbus sept call ups. They did get one win over the hot blue jays. Tigers are next and Detroit is fading fast. Need to kick them while they're down, and kick daleko off the bandwagon. We've lost every game since he started following the tribe last night. o) |

Milw sucks and St Louis can sleep walk the rest of the way. Clev will give me something to follow. It'd be fun to see them make it in the jr league. Didn't get to see any of tonites game, but as you might expect Toronto jumped on Trevor Bauer early for 5 in the first couple innings and r.a. Dickey's knuckled made the lead stand up. 5-1.
