First game of the season and its virtually over. The sucking in Berea continues we were inside the jets 10 yard line 3 times in the first half... and came away w/just 10 points. not a good sign. manziel's td pass to benjamin was well thrown, surprisingly well thrown, but he still has no nfl pocket presence. when he sees his tackles ride de's behind him, he has to learn that he has one or two seconds to make a read and throw, or take off. that's all. these guys who play on sundays are a lot faster and smarter than those he saw at a&m. both times he fumbled it was guys from behind. but i was more disappointed in our defense. letting fitzpatrick take that last possession of the first half down for 7 so easily was not a good sign... and our front 7 got gashed in the 2nd half. 11 straight years beginning w/a loss. ugh. it's not a death knell... we were 7-4 last season before the front office decided to can the year and prepare manziel, kicking hoyer out the door. but we're real short on offensive playmakers, emphasis on short; i think every one of them, including the qb, is 5'10 175 or less. that's where i really thought keeping pryor on the roster made some sense... a big receiving target who can do something once he catches the ball. alas, he gets cut and we pick up an injured rb who can't play for another month. we could be out of it by october, if we aren't already. lol

---- Keeping Pryor as WR made sense since that he could've doubled as a 3rd team/emeregency QB
