Looking a little bleak for you guys to greet that last widcard, but I remember last year. Anything can happen in baseball.

Looking a little bleak for you guys to greet that last widcard, but I remember last year. Anything can happen in baseball. Didn't get to see any of today's game, but saw some highlights. Looks like young picked a gem. Salazar wasn't bad but tough to beat a shutout. Taking 2 out of 3 normally would be great, but not now. W the Astros winning, 4 out w 8 to go seems insurmountable. Houston heads to Seattle for 3. Angels host Oakland then has 4 at Texas. Indians now head to Minnesota, before coming home to fave Boston and then if need the make up game with Detroit. And they have to win all 8 to have even a prayer. Kluber goes tomorrow. He's had 2 straight outings where he's struggled since coming back from the injury. He'll have 2 starts left in the regular season and needs to be sharp. Ironic that he leads the majors in losses with 15 a year after winning the cry young, when he's still pitched so well the majority of the season.

Young simply amazes me. He's what, 6'10" and RH rows all of about 86-87 mph. And wins. So much for needing that 99 mph fastball. On the downside, I read today he pitched even though his dad died yesterday. EarlI er in August Moose had a huge game, multiple HR's and I think it was 9 or11 rbi in one game right after his mother died. I hate to think I need Homers mom to get sick heading into the post season. ;-)
