I love Major League and Major League 3, Back to the Minors. ML2, not as much, but it was okay. ML1 when it came out was hilarious and Rene was hot.

BTW, after putzing around for a few weeks after clinching, the Royals finished strong, on a six game winning streak and finished with the most wins in the AL at 95. On to the playoffs.

The Royals dont play til Thursday night so 4 days off will do them good....I believe the Yankees will beat Houston in New York in the 1st wild card game but really looking forward to the other wild card game with the Cubs/Pirates. Sorta pulling for the Cubs to come out of the NL. Those fans have suffered longer than Tribe fans <g>

Any real baseball person would demand over 51%. Or tell him to come back in five years when he's lost enough to sell it ALL...

Brings back memories of the 70's into the early 80's when they were consistently the two best teams in the league. KC has adjusted their starting rotation so that Ace Ventura starts game one and Johnny Cueto gets game two. Hopefully Ventura continues as dominant as he has been the last month or two. The bullpen has been revamped with Holland having had Tommy John surgery. Wade Davis is now the closer and Kelvin Herrera moves from the 7th inning guy to the 8th inning guy. Looks like Ryan Madson is the choice to become the new 7th inning guy although, depending on the circumstances, it could be Danny Duffy. Going into the playoffs I believe the team is stronger than last years version but honestly, realizing how tough it is to get to the series two years in a row, I have no expectations. Just tickled to have had such an enjoyable year watching them play as they really are enormously entertaining to watch.

The Yankees will be without C.C.Sabathia for the post-season as he checked into alcohol re-hab___I had the Royals coming out of the AL anyway to face St.L in W.S....Good to see K.C. get back to the mid-season playing level and finish strong

I'd love to see them get on a strong run like last year, but I won't be too disappointed if they fail to make the series. Sorry to hear about CC. A guy in our youth baseball league when my boys were growing up grew up to be a trainer for the Indians minor league system and was pretty good friends with CC when he was in the minors. Always said that he was a pretty genuine guy. Hate to see anyone have these kinds of problems but I guess the lifestyle of a ML ball players sort of lends itself to the problem.

Pitchers have 4-6 days off between starts__they are either eating alot or drinking alot.____Yanks down 3-0 into the 8th__not looking good. A-rod and Beltan are 1 for 6

Call me old fashioned...I think what he (& others like him) have done is much worse for baseball than Pete Rose betting on his baseball team. With the BS he put EVERYONE thru, I wish he'd be banned for life. But then, I also would like to see the NFL commissioner (You remember the NFL, who is so concerned about player safety they're suspending players for playing football because of helmet to helmet contact) tell Nadomican Suh that if one more incident occurs where he is deliberately trying to injure a player, he would be banned as well. Safety is safety...

Safety is safety... LOL!! Don't get me started on Suh. Thank God the Phins phired Philbin phinally. <G> The idiot cleaned the roster when he came of all the "bad citizens" we had. Those nasty, mean old guys like Brandon Marshall and Vonte Davis. Behavior in the training center became more of a factor in playing time than actual results on the field. So please explain to me why in the world do we go out in the off season and hire the dirtiest player in the NFL, perhaps of all time (respect to Conrad Dobler).
