Do you recall any changes lately that have been 'fan friendly?' agreed that baseball seems to have become a more regional vs national sport. but mlb wants to spread the wealth, ie multiple networks covering games, so that you can still stagger start times let not lose or tick off viewers which happens if only one network is carrying the games and one goes long (do you stay w/the first game thru the end or switch viewers to game 2). does complicate things some, but if the networks are buying, mlb will sell it that way. one other interesting note... so far there have been 4 playoff games and the visitors have won them all.

Yep it's about the dollars and options. Fewer options to carry more levels of games. It'll pick up when you get to the final 4. Seven games may be fair but it's a lot of games when you have 8 teams. Too much else that those games to compete with. Will anyone, here, watch the Presidents Cup golf in Korea. So it gets stuck on the golf channel.

I agree and I watched it last night until I fell asleep somewhere around 1:00 Am. But it's on GC because no one else wanted it.

But it's on GC because no one else wanted it. well, the time difference makes doing a replay less profitable, because the viewership is even more marginalized.

When golf is on TV, I immediately go to the "Watching Metal Rust" channel. It's more exciting.
