Just got home in time to see Mondesi make his ML debut. Tough spot to put him in but a pretty cool moment.

Tnis was still a game until Morales come in for the Royals and has a monumental brain cramp on the comebacker. Then Wright makes them pay.

Talk about weird...
1986 World Series -- Game 1: Mets lose by 1 Game 2: Mets lose by 6 Game 3: Mets win by 6
2105 World Series -- Game 1: Mets lose by 1 Game 2: Mets lose by 6 Game 3: Mets win by 6
Let's Go Mets!

Um, I meant 2015 not 2105. Now that would be something.

I was hoping for good Ventura last night but we got bad Ventura instead. Kid can go out and be unhittable with double digit strikeouts one game and can't get past 2 to 3 innings he next. I hope it is just maturity and he settles into a true ace in the next few years. Hard to find guys who can sling it up to 102 mph.

I hope it is just maturity and he settles into a true ace in the next few years. Hard to find guys who can sling it up to 102 mph. With that arm, he will be fine. He just needs to learn how to pitch and like you said, that comes with time. Look at Arrieta with the Cubs. He was all over the place in Baltimore and now he is poised to win a Cy Young. Another example is Syndergaard who was pretty average (bad?) in the minors after being penciled in the rotation last year (deGrom ultimately took his spot) and now is one of the bright stars in the NL. You cant teach 100MPH so if he ever figures it out, look out.

Yeah that looked more like a little league play than a mlb play. You could see his brain thinking and his body reacting. I think he looked at all 3 runners before throwing 5 yards wide of 2nd.

Honestly don't know why they keep running Morales out there. He was great the first half of the year but hasn't been the same the last few months.
