The Bears are despised, hated, reviled, spit upon. ...TODAY...they have been very respectable in our lifetimes...but it starts with that FUBAR QB ... Fred is a lifelong Packer fan who once lived in Chicago where his hatred of the Bears was born. I was a Rams fan in the Vince era (I'm born and raised L.A.) and went to school and was friends with his niece but under Fred's influence I am now a true Packer fan. The Rams need to come home. |

The Rams need to come home.I agree with that...the ONLY thing that Cleveland has done right lately was retain the Browns name for their franchise...I still have to think about the Baltimore Ravens & Indianapolis Colts...and wth knows about the Raiders? |

Fred was a major Colts fan during the Unitas era. He now hates them almost as much as the Bears for abandoning hometown AND league (conference). The other team he hates is the Broncos. He despises Elway with a passion.

The only bear Fred ever liked and admired was Gale (and Brian)...
He didn't hate Walter and actually learned to admire him too towards the end of his career.

The only bear Fred ever liked and admired was Gale (and Brian)... He didn't hate Walter and actually learned to admire him too towards the end of his career. I go a bit further back...The Bears drafted Sayers because Willie Galimore had been killed in an auto accident. I don't know why, but I was a fan...sorta. I was first & foremost a Unitas fan. I think I must have seen a game on TV, and liked his moves...his nickname was "the wisp." |

Interestingly, if Cleveland had retained the name of its original NFL franchise, the team today would be called the Rams. |

Interestingly, if Cleveland had retained the name of its original NFL franchise, the team today would be called the Rams. Yeah, but that was before any of us were around rooting for FB... I'm gonna have to ask my dad tomorrow if he remembers that...  |
