NFL MOCK DRAFT - ROUND 1
1. CLEVELAND BROWNS (2-10): Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis: The Browns are desperate to find the right answer at quarterback and will be doing their homework on all the passers in the 2016 class. Lynch has the size, athleticism and arm talent that translates well to the pro game, and he continues to get better with added experience.
2. TENNESSEE TITANS (3-9): Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss: Tennessee needs to address the offensive line this offseason and if the Titans have the chance to add a talent like Tunsil, they would be wise not to pass, pushing Taylor Lewan over to right tackle.
3. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS (3-9): Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State: San Diego has been ravaged due to injuries and has several need areas on the depth chart. Bosa is ideally suited for a traditional 4-3 base, but he has the scheme-versatile skill-set to fit any defense.
4. BALTIMORE RAVENS (4-8): Jalen Ramsey, CB, Florida State: Baltimore corners Jimmy Smith and Lardarius Webb are locked into long-term contracts, but both have struggled to stay healthy and the Ravens can't pass up a talent like Ramsey if he's still available here.
5. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (4-8): Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame: Jacksonville has invested money and draft picks to improve the offensive line, but there are still question marks at several spots. Stanley needs mechanical refinement, but his dancing bear athleticism puts him in the top-10 discussion.
6. DALLAS COWBOYS (4-8): Myles Jack, OLB, UCLA: The Cowboys defense needs help at each level, including at linebacker, especially with the futures of Rolando McClain (free agent) and Sean Lee (injuries) in doubt. Although currently sidelined with a knee injury, Jack has top 10 talent if his rehab is on track.
7. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (4-8): Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss: Regardless of who is at quarterback, the Saints need to find the "new" Marques Colston - a large target with athleticism. That description fits Treadwell, who is a less dynamic version of Dez Bryant.
8. ST. LOUIS RAMS (4-8): Vernon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida: With starting CBs Janoris Jenkins and Trumaine Johnson in the final year of rookie contracts, the Rams might be looking for a corner or two in the 2016 draft. Hargreaves doesn't have ideal size, but the ball awareness and toughness help compensate.
