Brock Osweiler and the Denver Broncos led the Steelers 27-0 at the half yesterday, and lost 34-27 in regulation. Last week, they led Oakland 12-0 at the half and lost 15-12. It was Keystone Cops stuff in both second halves for the Broncos-- lots of penalties and dropped passes that were on the money-- by Demaryius Thomas and Vernon Davis. I'm wondering if Davis has been secretly betting against Denver recently.
A lot is riding on next Monday Night's Cincinnati (11-3) at Denver (10-4) game. If Denver wins, they'll be the #2 seed in the AFC playoffs-- assuming both teams win their final games. If the Bengals win, they'll be the #2 seed.
Both teams are being QB'd by second stringers at present-- A.J. McCarron and Brock Osweiler.
It still isn't clear when Peyton Manning will be ready to play.

Actually if the broncos lose out they could finish 10-6 and actually miss the playoffs. Monday night is pretty important.

Denver really needs Manning back in the line-up to have any hope of a deep playoff run. I don't think Osweiler is ready

Denver really needs Manning back in the line-up to have any hope of a deep playoff run. I don't think Osweiler is ready Agreed. But, according to today's Denver Post, Osweiler will be the starter against A.J. McCarron and the Bengals on Monday Night.
The 2015 Broncos are one of the only teams in NFL history who could end up as either the #1 AFC seed or be completely OUT of the playoffs with only two games to go.
