I like Brady. I do not like Manning. Tom Brady is 2-6 in Denver with his only 2 wins coming against Bronco teams that had Danny Kannel and Tim Tebow at qb.

When the Patriots lost a squeaker in Denver recently, they were playing without their starting WRs-- Julian Edelman and Amendola. Also, Gronkowski got hurt and had to leave the game. So, as much as I hate to say it, I think the Patriots will beat Denver this Sunday.
Denver's receivers have also been dropping a lot of passes this year. The Broncos would have lost to the Steelers yesterday if Bradley Roby hadn't forced that 4th quarter fumble.

I have watched every Denver-New England game in recent decades. The Broncos owned the Patriots for years, and they have often defeated even the Great One, Tom Brady. BUT...
When the Broncos have beaten Brady, on several occasions, it was because 1) he didn't have any decent receivers to throw to, and/or 2) he had no time in the pocket.
Currently, Brady has his three best receivers back.* Ergo, if his O-line protects him, he will pick the Broncos apart this Sunday.
* Julian Edelman, (Kent State) Danny Amendola, (Texas Tech) and Rob Gronkowski (Arizona)

but the pats' o-line has been beaten up, especially late this season. that bye week before playing the chiefs did them a lot of good. don't forget that edelman and gronk are both coming off injuries too. it's one of the bad by-products of the nfl extending its season. for both the broncos and new england this will be game #18. 4 1/2 months of weekly violent collisions. becomes a battle of attrition as much as strategy and execution. i think denver's d-line has a real chance of being the most dominant unit in this game.

Edelman is a truly great player, and Gronkowski is virtually impossible to defend. I'm not sure that there is a defensive back in the NFL who can shut down Gronk when he is at the top of his game. The Broncos had Bradley Roby cover him (and even Talib on a few plays) in their earlier game this year.
New England's O-line did a reasonably good job of protecting Brady last week from KC's excellent defense. The only big hit Brady took, as I recall, was on a late hit-- flagged for 15 yards.
I hope that I'm wrong, but my prediction for Sunday is New England 31 Denver 16.
Part of the Broncos' problem is the sluggish, overly conservative Kubiak offensive schema. If Kubiak wants to run the ball on first and second downs against New England, he's going to get his ass handed to him.
He should let Peyton Manning run an up tempo offense from the first snap-- throwing the ball on first and second downs to open up some running lanes against New England's gigantic LBs.
