speaking of the moneymaker, what the hell? uw looked asleep thru the entire game (we had that on w/the sound down on a small tv while watching the gop debate). hayes couldn't hit the ocean from a boat. ugly.

bucknuts narrowly defeated penn state.  penn state shot lights out in the first half but was somehow only up 3 at halftime.  ohio state outplayed them in the 2nd half when psu cooled off from the outside.  this was a typical psu loss.  showed flashes of being a good team, but was out rebounded and the other team attempted about a dozen more free throws.  i loved dan dakich's rant at the end of the game but psu was still down by like 5 when the refs began to make some awful calls.  

next year begins a really fun stretch!

Agreed that Psu had some calls go against them but that wasn't why they lost. Lyle and loving were pretty aggressive taking the ball the the rim and Psu just didn't make enough stops. Plus you just get more calls when you're driving than you do taking jump shots.

well to lyle and lovings credit, they made some difficult shots where they were well defended.  psu needs some better bigs and then teams will stop aggressively taking the ball to the rim.  disappointed we didn't win but i was encouraged to see them play so hard all season.  good luck advancing on.

Actually FUGLY. They did sleep through it. One thing Gard doesn't do well, apparently. I saw it in his first couple of FUGLY games. Back against the wall, the players got motivated in subsequent games. He's a quiet, X & O guy. Wonder if he can light a fire before or during the game. A cpl of pundits saw this coming. They could be on the 12 side of a 5-12. Bet on them if they are a 12. Hard to figure team.

um throws down a couple 3's at the end, after not making any the entire 2nd half, that knocks out #1 seed iu 72-69. as much as i always like seeing crean get beat, and i really liked seeing crean get beat today, that game hurts osu's chances for the ncaa even if they pull the sparty upset tonite
