.........f-ing game best championship game I've seen in a long long time Ditto. Didn't think Villanova could keep shooting the way they have the entire tournament but they did. They did what they needed to do to get a clean look after Paige's amazing 3, and Jenkins drilled it. He'll never have to buy a drink in philly the rest of his days. |

They did what they needed to do to get a clean look after Paige's amazing 3, and Jenkins drilled it. He'll never have to buy a drink in philly the rest of his days. The bars in Philly are probably all concocting a drink named after him |

Had Jenkins missed and that game goes into OT then I believe NC wins it with the momentum going in..... |

Good for Villanova. Jay Wright is an excellent coach who sometimes has teams that can win it all. This one did it.
I'm glad UNC didn't get another national championship. I couldn't stand a blue blood of college basketball winning another national championship.

The bars in Philly are probably all concocting a drink named after him honestly...no one in philly cared about villanova until about 2 weeks ago. the campus is located in the most affluent area of the region, in between an audi dealership and a mercedes dealership so they are not really technically viewed as a city school. and villanova isn't as popular as other colleges in the city b/c they sort of broke away from the tradition of competing against other city schools each year (big 5). but once the city noticed that nova had a legit chance, they started to pay attention. nova is a very likable team and jay wright is a very likable coach. glad the city eventually rallied around them. |

.........f-ing game best championship game I've seen in a long long time Agreed... basketball is great when both teams are making shots. it was just dagger after dagger after dagger. even non basketball fans enjoyed watching. i loved the way nova played especially on defense b/c unc was so much bigger. would have been epic if emmert announced sanctions against UNC from the podium after the game. |
