nice to see osu and um at #2/#3, but overall a pretty impressive showing by the pac 12... having 6 of the top 13. and kudos to stanford for its consistent excellence across the spectrum of its athletic program.

This from floridagators.com floridagators.com/news/2017/6/29/general-gator-athletics-program-finishes-third-in-the-nation.aspxGAINESVILLE, Fla. – Three NCAA team titles to close the collegiate season lifted the University of Florida athletics program to third in the 2016-17 Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings. This is Florida's ninth consecutive top-five finish in the national all-sports rankings. Florida is the only program to finish among the nation's top 10 in each of the last 34 national all-sports standings.

Nice finish by the Gators, with room to move up. I am happy to see FSU in the top 10. Hopefully we don't get jumped.

Nice finish by the Gators, with room to move up. I am happy to see FSU in the top 10. Hopefully we don't get jumped. UF will have a chance to match last year at #3 or come close. There aren't enough sports generating points to catch Stanford and UCLA. With that said, I'd like to see UF pick up men's gymnastics and men's volleyball. Both would be huge sports at UF. However, I have no idea how Title IX would be affected and what women sports could be added as a counter balance. There are already more women sports than men. This will be the 35th consecutive year that UF has finished in the top 10 and the 10th consecutive year UF has finished in the top 5. FSU is about to pick up 100 points for softball so I doubt they will fall out of the top 10.

The only one that looks close with points from baseball is UNC. They are about 100 behind us, but I think they may come up short, even if they win it all.

The chart on the 1st link shows softball to be added on 6/14, but the softball points have already been added. UF will pick up points for 2nd in men's T&F and 5th in women's T&F on 6/14, approximately 168 points. The final UF add will be for the Gators finish in Omaha. Needless to say, I'm hoping for 100 points for baseball.
