Who is going to fear a garbage can shaped like a dildo?
What exactly can it do when it encounters a man raping a woman, holding a knife? How about when it "sees" a man with a gun shooting at someone 20 yards away?

Security Guards at private businesses are instructed to call 911 in those cases. They are not supposed to leave their posts, and normally are not equipped to do anything other than yell at an attacker to try to distract him. At least the robot wouldn't worry about being shot at...probably has a camera, telephone hook up, and might be equipped with a siren... |

They are not supposed to leave their posts, and normally are not equipped to do anything other than yell at an attacker to try to distract him.
