As a part of the "Bonding Over Books" campaign, Bulldog receivers Isaiah McKenzie and Terry Godwin joined forces with ACCPD senior officer Lee Crosby at Bethel Midtown Village to read to 40 children. Parents and other residents of the Athens apartment complex were in attendance. With wide grins plastered across their faces, Godwin and McKenzie took time to read to the children in attendance in addition to spending time with and posing for photos with all in attendance. The book of choice? None other than Malcolm Mitchell's "The Magician's Hat," the book that earned him the honor of being named Georgia's children's author of the year a month ago.
