Can somebody explain how the O/U works? I've never been a gambler and have no idea what the numbers mean. Simple. An over-under line is set for total points scored in the game... say 50 points. If you take over, you are betting that more than 50 total points will be scored in the game... say 27-24 final score, or 51 points... or 31-20... again 51 points and you win. But if the final score is 49-0...you lose since the total points was less than 50. Doesn't matter who scores what...only the point total matters. |
