We don't actually live there but maintain a bunker outside of Bozeman. Buttheads from Cali have driven up prices in Mt. I was looking at buying something in the Helena area when my youngest was interning there two summers ago and he though it might be a great place to start his career. That "river runs through it" property ain't cheap.

Well I just got in from work to discover that the games were posted and that VT is on the list....only 7 hours before kickoff?? Seriously? I appreciate the work you do on this, but I really feel that it's unfair to drop games on us the same day they're played. I'll take Navy for tomorrow, but I'll have to get around to the other games later on. A couple of issues: 1. We've been doing this game for 4 years now. I get that I wasn't able to get the list up until Thursday morning, but at the same time, you're all aware of when the games start. There are college football games on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I don't always pick the games on Thursday or Friday, but it seems to make sense that all players would check on Thursday to make sure there aren't Thursday games. With that said, I am willing to drop the Thursday game, but I don't think that's fair to the folks who picked Pitt. 2. If anyone else would like to run the game, including keeping track of all the results, lines, choosing which games to be on the list and generally spending at least a couple of hours each week going through all of this, I'll happily resign my position and let someone else run it. To be honest, it has become very difficult for me lately to keep up with the game like I'd like to. I'm in charge of putting together a charity half marathon that I've been working tirelessly on for the better part of 6 months. It is 60 days away, and when I'm not working as a lawyer, or spending ten or fifteen minutes on the political side of this forum, I'm on the phone or emailing someone begging for money. It is easy to reply to a response from Mutt on my phone, but putting together a list requires having 3 or 4 websites open at a time. I'm not trying to make excuses, but the reality is, life gets in the way and I find myself saying, "I don't have time right now to put the list together I have a client here in ten minutes..." And it gets put off. I do my best.

It takes just a minute to check the board and, compared to all the work you do, it is nothing. Keep the Thursday game. To drop it would not be fair to the members who were conscientious enough to check the board and select Pitt.

Sure, bragging rights are nice (I am still in the lead, bitches! Ha) but it is just a game. Folks need to relax a little when things don't go as smoothly as they would like.

I didn't check the site after I got back from golfing yesterday, so that's my fault not yours. I failed to pick the VT/Pitt game. You're doing a great job, keep it up.

Any time you'd like me to put the picks together less the quotes, just let me know. I'd prefer not to get involved with the score keeping. What to do about the Thursday game? I picked Pitt so I want the win. I don't mind what you decide about those who lost or didn't get it posted in time except I don't think it should register as a win.

I thought when I asked where week nine was this morning that all the games would be Saturday games. Guess you'll get an asterisk next to your final standings. Oh, so that's why I thought I saw games for Thursday and Saturday. Thanks, I thought I was dreaming.. LOL!

As I said, I really appreciate your efforts. Remember that I ran a Pickem on AOL for ten years, so I know how much work it is. That said, sometimes it's easier just to do Saturday games to buy a couple of extra days.
As far as this week goes, please just give me the dog for each Saturday game...I don't have time to make picks right now. Thanks.
