... great atmosphere inside nationwide last nite. jackets pounded the pens 7-1. outshot 8-1 in the first 5:00 or so, columbus dominated both ends of the ice for the next 55:00. hat trick by hartnell, another stellar performance from bob, fantastic shifts from guys like calvert, saad, dubinsky, atkinson, and the cbj even survived the worst penalty i've ever seen, when crosby flailed like he'd been shot and harnell got called for 'elbowing' when he was at least 10 feet away from sidney (he actually caught a stick from a pittsburgh teammate). unreal that guy even gets protected from phantom physical contact. and for the 1st time in franchise history... no club has a better record or more points right now than the blue jackets. tough back/back w/montreal tonite. been a great run to ride!

A win tonight gives them 12 in a row. Mark, I have watched hockey for a long time and this is one of the craziest things I have ever seen. The talent just isn't there collectively but they are finding ways to win. Simply amazing what a "team" and some confidence can do. |

Simply amazing what a "team" and some confidence can do. they were hanging on for dear life in the 3rd, playing a top level team and their 3rd game in 4 nights. but bob came up absolutely huge. the guy in the net can make a good team much better. and another sell out crowd. amazing. |
