Matthew 19:55 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’ ............. Nowhere does He say a man shall become united with another man. Use your BRAIN. Jesus defined marriage as between a MAN and a WOMAN. Pick up your dunce cap on the way out the door. LOL. That's your proof??? Matthew 19:5. Pick up YOUR dunce cap as well.

lol. Where am I a hateful bitch? I have no quarrel with gay people or Muslims who merely want to live in peace without being grouped in with nutbars. That's your MO. I don't have any problem with homos, either, as long as they don't try to molest ME. Muslimes, OTOH are driven by an evil religion that teaches them it is OK to murder people who are not like them. Not some muslimes, ALL of them. They all follow the same unholy Koran. Those muslims who choose to disobey the Koran are fine by me, but don't kid yourself into thinking their religion is peaceful.
I gotta tell you, my interaction with all of you ignorant liberals is really starting to wear me down. Life is too short to keep trying to rescue you from your own stupidity.Well then, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, chief.

So when a person says they don't want to bake a cake for gay people because it offends their Christian values to promote a lifestlye that is against God and evil, (or whatever they claim it to be), where in the New Testament does it say that, since any citation of the Old Testament is now completely irrelevant and to be disregarded? Matthew 19:55 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’ ............. Nowhere does He say a man shall become united with another man. Use your BRAIN. Jesus defined marriage as between a MAN and a WOMAN. Pick up your dunce cap on the way out the door. That passage pretty convincingly explains to us the Christian teaching about divorce and remarriage. Apparently, not good and not Christian except to hard-hearted adulterers....but interestingly, he didn't address same-sex marriage. Why? The Pharisees, weren't asking about gay marriage. Try again.

BTW, you folks who say the Old Testament is still relevant, read THIS:Leviticus 20:13 ► New International Version "'If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. It amazes me that you're trotting this out as some sort of winning point. Those who mention the Old Testament now are merely remind you of your own stupid actions in the past when you've relied on Old Testament statements to justify your own bigotry. Now that it's thrown back in your face, you claim it isn't relevant. Except when you say it is, like you have before. The fact that it is being illustrated now isn't to claim the Old Testament is relevant. It is to highlight your glaring hypocrisy. Unfortunately, your IQ is locked in an epic battle with your shoe size, or you'd be able to figure that out on your own...

I have NEVER said the OT is relevant now as far as God's law. That's a fallacy you liberals lean on. The OT is relevant as far as history and genealogy go, and that's it. Since it is you clowns who insist the OT is still relevant, I showed you that the OT says homosexuality is a sin, punishable by DEATH.
So which way are you swinging, sweetheart? Is the OT relevant or not? Yes or no.
Sorry, toots, but bigotry is a liberal sickness, and I think you have a terminal case.

ACCs support women but abortion and homosexuality go against Bible teachings. Which? Show me where in the bible it says that. New testimon only please. We've established in this thread that is the only bible a true Christian would follow Our Creator is still the same one who created us. Sin is still sin. Just because we have been given a covenant through Jesus paying our ransom does not mean we should knowingly continue to commit these things that we know are not pleasing to our Creator. Romans 5:9 Therefore, since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from wrath through Him! Romans Chapter 1 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; In Luke chapter one, verses 36 and 41, we are told that Elisabeth conceived a "son" and that the "babe" leaped in her womb. God does not say that a "fetus" leaped in her womb! He says THE BABE leaped. This is the exact same word that God uses to describe Christ in the manger AFTER He is born (Luke 2:12, 16). In God eyes, an unborn babe and a newborn babe are the same. They are both living humans. Matthew 7:12, the Lord Jesus Christ said, "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." Would it be your desire to suffer and die while someone traps you in a cage and literally tears your arms and legs from your body? Abortion is a violation of the golden rule. Abortion promotes the message that life is NOT so valuable, and that man can do as he pleases with it. How long will it be before our nation decides that the killing of elderly people and sick people is justifiable? Why stop there? How long will it be before it becomes lawful to kill Bible believers who refuse to conform to the world system? It won't be as long as you may think (Rev. 13:16-18; Rev. 20:4). Abortion devalues human life, and it pushes our nation a step closer to that wicked day when it becomes lawful to murder innocent people. Something to think about.

I'm trying to stay away from the political crap, but haven't made it past the first step.
This crap about "true" Christians being peaceful and never causing carnage is bullshit. It is the "true" Christian fanatics who are most fanatical and adhere to Biblical adherence to both the Old and New Testament however they interpret it. It is no different than the fanatical "true" Muslims who interpret the Koran in the same way.
That said, Muslim fanatics have caused a hell of a lot more problems for our country than Christian fanatics, and it is mind boggling that some equate the two. Islam, as an organized religion, didn't really get going until about 600 AD, which would place it's evolution to where Christians were during the Inquisitions. Islam is due for a Reformation like Christianity had.
I agree with many on the left that Religion as a whole is not good for mankind, but unfortunately, most of mankind needs a God to sustain their daily lives, and those of us who don't understand that need need to accept that reality, not ridicule the beliefs.
And we should also recognize which of the Religions have the most fanatics intent on killing us, regardless of belief.

I agree 100% with this, so long as we don't start presuming or speaking as if the one causing the most trouble is nothing but troublemakers, and the one causing the least trouble is nothing but peacemakers. Citing certain lines of scripture to justify that position while ignoring the parts that don't fit that narrative when it suits them is what I took issue with.

However when those beliefs make you want to take away rights from other people that's where I draw the line.
