You have a president who cares about himself. No more. I don't get foodstamps. Never have. Nope. I was working. But even if I wasn't I wouldn't have watched. Yes. I'm fully aware people fell for his con. Unfortunately they'll have to live with their decision. As I was telling bam I drove by the same rusted closed down factories yesterday that I do almost every day. They're still closed. Who knew. So, he's a failure because 18 hours after taking office he still hasn't reopened a factory? Okayyyyyyyyy....... I can provide video after video of Trump either saying "on day 1" or "1st hundred days" when saying he would have these places open and these jobs back. This is what 80% of the factories look like around my area encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSHa1QS7zHb3TCS5dcRiY7ltMs6wfBcKAcWmnF1h2A8gv8b8v7bPeople around here fully expect Trump to get them reopened and all the jobs back. Now sit there and tell me how realistic that is.

YOUNGSTOWN VALLOUREC REMAINS UNION FREE UE loses 148 to 367 Congratulations to everyone who took the time and put out the effort to be heard, you made a difference. United Electrical Workers (UE) is organizing and vote dates have been set. It is important that EVERYONE votes. The union has already started a disinformation campaign stating that “if your going to vote no, then just don’t vote”. This is WRONG, every vote counts and it takes just 50% + 1 vote of ONLY THOSE WHO VOTED to decide whether you start paying union dues or not. If 50 people vote and 26 of them voted for the union, ALL of you will pay union dues. You have the right to:Participate in meetings to discuss NOT joining a union and to attend meetings to discuss YOUR rights not to join a union. Distribute, read and discuss non-union literature that outlines reasons against participating in union organizing activity. WEAR buttons, stickers, t-shirts and hats to show support for your right not to join a union and to refrain from union organizing activity. NOT SIGN a union membership card and you can demand your card be voided if your were mislead into signing a union membership card. Circulate and sign petitions to oppose the union. Join together with your coworkers and others in support of your employer and against union organizing activity. Organize other employees to rally against the union, to demand the union withdraw and cancel the union election.

We did, Coal. When Fred was semi-retired for almost two years we paid cash for everything and we made due. Like I said, when paying cash, doctors and dentists will negotiate the price way down when they understand your circumstances. At least our did. I was able to get my prescriptions for a big discount through a low income program at the Costco pharmacy. Instead of whining and being a victim like stupid people do we actually were very proactive in maintaining our health care and tightened our belts to achieve that goal. Where are these doctors you speak of? If I walked into a doctor office where I live and said. "I'm poor, I know it's usually $250 but how about $50 instead" my ass would be thrown out before I could blink It's true in most places...you can negotiate a different number for cash. The doctor has to be independent and not employed by a hospital group, but it can be done. Start by asking their reimbursement rate. I've done it a couple of times with doctors that I already had, but no longer take my insurance plan.

He was under 65, and had no insurance. The bill came to $1960 for the visit. He negotiated with the hospital and they settled for $980. I loaned him the money to pay the bill, and he paid me back over about 2 years. Some doctors and dentists will negotiate prices and work out payment plans for needy patients, but not those with the attitude you seem to have.

What blows my mind is you gave a poor person $980. Shocked you didnt call him a leach and tell him to go f-word off and die. Because that's the attitude you have

I'm no fan of his for sure but let's see how the first few months go when it comes to actual policy, leadership, legislation etc. until then, try to enjoy the political posturing, the figurative middle finger he/his staff are still flashing around to appease the base.

You hate unions. This is known very well. Unions are shit. They are no longer needed to protect workers' rights. Unions are nothing but legalized strong-arm robbery/protection racket, for the business AND the worker.
"Hey Joe, me and Johnny wanna talk a minute -- a nice friendly chat, ain't dat right Johnny?" "Yeah, Guido, dat's right." "Ya know, Joe, da boss said that bad things could happen to workers who don't join the union, ya know? Gee, it'd be terrible if da wife and kid had an accident on da way to school --- ya know? But (sniffs), dey say dat guys in the union, they got like this guardian angel over their families, ain't dat right, Johnny?" "Yeah, Guido, dat's right." "So, we know you gonna make the boss happy and join the union, and we all be happy, right Joe? Everybody's happy, ain't that right, Johhny? "Yeah Guido, dat's right."
