He hit a suspect while the criminal thug was lying on the ground defenseless! ***
*** Well, that's how CNN would report it, and they would edit out the initial encounter.

Can't see the thug's other arm but it looks like he was resisting to me. I honestly don't see him as down defenseless. Down yes, but not yet in custody or controlled. Am I missing something here?
The other thing I found odd was the cop didn't say or do anything when the guy walked over to the truck door and opened it. The whole time from when the thug started walking over there I was thinking he's going after a gun.

If that guy was black. He would've shot and killed 20 seconds in If they ( criminals ) see blue lights in their mirror, would just pull over and stop, keeping their hands in sight and obeying officer's commands, instead of jumping out of the stolen car and running with A WEAPON in their hand, I'm betting there would be a lot lees shot.

Not sure what the has to do with anything. There's plenty of unarmed people who get shot by police and there's plenty who do obey police and are still shot.

The whole time from when the thug started walking over there I was thinking he's going after a gun. I was being facetious. Of course he was resisting!!
I have no idea what was going through the cop's head. The thug is very lucky, and I won't second guess the cop.
What I thought was funny was the wife/girlfriend walking up behind them and gesturing as if to say "Give me his rifle, I'll hold it for you." Yeah sure, lady ........... he is Clyde and you might be Bonnie.

They aren't robots. They are mostly men with families that they want to go home to yet they go on patrol each day to try and make our streets safer. Walk a mile in their shoes then sit and judge. IOWs. do a few ride-a-longs. I've never been a cop but I've been on a half dozen ride-a-longs and I can tell you first hand, it can get scary real quick. My utmost respect for these men and women who put their lives on the line day after day for you.. and for me.

I only did it for 27 years, so I really don't know the shit that cops put up with. I'm just a pretender, and I never slept at a Holiday Inn Express either.
I sure as f-word ain't gonna listen to a lowly brain-dead Uber driver's opinion of the police and police work. He is the coward who runs AWAY from gunfire.

They don't listen to you about Duane either. They don't need to listen to me about Duane. His masterful guitar playing is easy to access. Recordings are everywhere. He's on more recordings than Hendicks could even COUNT.
