sixers move within 13.5 games of cleveland

and cleveland, with the 76ers breathing down their necks,  is starting to feel the pressure.  they've lost 3 games in a row.  sixers have now won 8 out of their last 10, 10 of their last 13. the last two w/o embiid who is nursing some sort of knee injury.  hottest team in the league!  

and if you follow tankathon.com on a daily basis like me,  you would see that the lakers have now imploded. they now hold the 2nd worst record in the league after a respectable start.  it seems that both deangelo russell and jahil okafor are busts and that porzingis was the 2nd best player in the draft behind karl anthony towns.   maybe lakers will flip russell for okafor now?  it seems both need a change of scenery.  even though okafor has struggled defensively, he's still young enough and athletic to be the rim protector that the lakers so desperately need.  lakers owe the 76ers their first round pick but it's top 3 protected.  maybe they don't want to get better.

sixers game vs the rockets was flexed to national tv friday night on ESPN.  embiid is questionable but if he plays, i suggest you watch.  76ers team defense is very good w/ embiid and james harden will be a great matchup since he's so great at drawing fouls and driving and dishing

The Lakers are tanking to protect their pick. They are playing the kids and maintain rotations regardless of who might have a hot hand. It's pretty obvious.

LOL__the Sixers are 4 games behind 8th place Charlotte for the playoffs.__so you may get your wish for a cavs/sixers in the first rd.
