Lawsuits filed against MSU allege that coaches or trainers were told of allegations in the late 1990s and early 2000s on at least three occasions. funny that paterno outrage was the subject of SNL jokes, monologues on late night TV, top subject on all the nightly news but this story has gone completely under the radar. i cannot figure out the difference between paterno/penn state being implicated with covering up sexual assault of children vs michigan state covering up for a team doctor.

Most likely because Joe Paterno was a national figure.

This guy isn't only associated with Michigan State, he's also associated with USA Gymnastics. Maybe that's the connection. I dunno.

Good. People should know about this so it can be prevented in the future.
