Well, there ya go.  George H.W. Bush had been living in Texas since 1948.   He had absolutely NO reason to be in Dallas in November of 1963 to see JFK.   America is not a free country, and GHW Bush did not have permission to be standing on a public sidewalk at that time.

In fact, Bush stayed at the Dallas Sheraton on the night of 11/21/63, and was taken from Dealey Plaza to the Dallas Police Department for questioning right after JFK was shot.  He was released and flew back to Houston that afternoon.

Back into the plucker you go...

        Do you deny that George H.W. Bush was in Dallas on 11/22/63?  That he stayed at the Dallas Sheraton?  Those are FACTS-- not theories.

        As for the "Mr. George Bush of the CIA" who was personally briefed by J. Edgar Hoover on 11/29/63, it has been proven beyond any reasonable doubt that it was, in fact, a reference to George Herbert Walker Bush.

         It is also a known FACT that GHWB was working for the CIA on the anti-Castro (Bay of Pigs) Operation 40 in the early 60s.

        In fact, Yarborough was riding in LBJ's limo, waving at the crowd in Dealey Plaza when JFK was shot.  (LBJ was crouching down in the limo at the time, saying that he was trying to listen to the radio.  This is visible in the original Altgens photo of the limo.)

       Yes, GHWB was standing at the Texas School Book Depository when JFK was shot.

       And GHWB worked for the CIA on Cuban Operation 40.

Yes, my bad on that date.  Senator Ralph Yarborough was not up for re-election until '64.  I was thinking of the 11/22/63 phone call by GHWB to the FBI identifying his own "campaign" staffer as a murder suspect.

GHWB, in a strange "alibi" phone call to the FBI shortly after JFK was shot, identified himself as a "Houston oil man calling from Tyler, Texas," and told the FBI that he had recently heard threats toward JFK from a young man-- who turned out to be working directly for GHWB on his (Senate) political campaign.

Needless to say, when the FBI showed up at the young man's door, he was surprised and bewildered to learn that he had been fingered by his boss GHWB as a JFK murder suspect.  The young Republicon had never threatened anyone.

Now, let's get back to GHWB in Dealey Plaza on 11/22/63, and meeting with J. Edgar Hoover on 11/29/63.  Shall we?

On Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1963, an advertisement under “Club Activities” was published in the Dallas Morning News stating that George Bush, president, Zapata Off-Shore Co., would be speaking for the American Association of Oilwell Drilling contractors at 6:30 p.m., the next day at the Sheraton-Dallas Hotel.

The advertisement places George H. W. Bush in Dallas the day before JFK was assassinated.
