i'm no fan of tom crean. his air of self-importance stalking up and down the sidelines, his pouting, it was cartoonish. but a year ago the guy won his 2nd big 10 title in 8 years in bloomington, and upset kentucky on their way to a sweet 16. this year, exactly 1 minute after the first ncaa game of the day began, iu canned him. the hoosiers beat kansas and unc during the pre-season, but fans over there forgot about those wins... remembering the loss to iu-ft wayne inbetween those games.

like i said earlier, i'm no fan of crean. i think he carries himself as a jerk. but canning wilson re football and now crean... certainly looks like a major house cleaning theme taking precedence over results on the field of play. It's why, in St L, Hoosier takes on a different and pejorative tone.

Kent State dug themselves a hole they couldn't get out of as they started the game shooting 1 of 10...Bruins rolled Kent state was good enough on offense to get within shouting distance but the bruins could not miss. Think at one point in the 2nd half they made 9 straight shots.

Kent State dug themselves a hole they couldn't get out of as they started the game shooting 1 of 10...Bruins rolled Kent state was good enough on offense to get within shouting distance but the bruins could not miss. Think at one point in the 2nd half they made 9 straight shots. Didn't knowing that..fell asleep 3 or 4 minutes into the second half..long day for me and this game with a late start just couldn't hold on
