Quite an accomplishment...but keeping things in perspective; in the 1961-2 season, the Big O AVERAGED a triple double, and in a season that was only 70 games. The NBA has already played 78 games for the year.

No problem. FWIW, I think Westbrook's accomplishments exceed what Oscar did in '61-'62...I loved Oscar, but there are many more good players now than back then. Unless something really odd happens, Westbrook will average a triple double. All he needs is 15-20 assists over the final 5 games. Just my take.

in today's game, just having that many triple doubles is noteworthy, and if he manages to become only the second player in NBA history to average that over the season, he's earned the tip of MY cap...
