Hmmm... Walt seems to think these murders were just 'capital punishment'. We should ignore all that and focus on murders committed by criminals in the US instead because, y'know, those are actual crimes committed with horrible guns in the hands of civilians... Mao Ze-Dong (China, 1958-61 and 1966-69, Tibet 1949-50) 49-78,000,000 people murdered Jozef Stalin (USSR 1932-39 only) 15,000,000 people murdered Adolf Hitler (Germany 1939-1945) 12,000,000 people murdered Pol Pot (Cambodia, 1975-79) 1,700,000 people murdered Kim II Sung (North Korea 1948-94) 1,600,000 million people murdered Tito (Yugoslavia 1945-1987) 570,000 people murdered Suharto (Communists 1965-66) 500,000 people murdered Ante Pavelic (Croatia 1941-45) 359,000 people murdered Ho Chi Min (Vietnam 1953-56) 200,000 people murdered Vladimir Ilich Lenin (USSR, 1917-20) 30,000 people murdered Let's let Walt fact check how many 'capital punishment' deaths in China since Mao kicked.... Ted Kennedy (U.S. Democrat) - 1 murder Bill & Hillary Clinton (U.S. Democrats) - 1 (that we know of, probably more) Hillary Clinton (U.S. Democrat) - 4 in Benghazi Barack Obama (U.S. Democrat) - 4 in Benghazi

Oh....so capital punishment is murder by the government, eh? Gee....who knew? Meanwhile, even with the Chinese government's capital punishment death toll added in, you are still better than 4 times more likely to be murdered in the US than you are in China...and guess which weapon it is that is used most often in the USA to commit those murders. Go ahead. Guess. I double-dog-dare you. Automobile.well you went and ruined walts boner again.

well you went and ruined walts boner again. But Walt will claim that deliberately getting intoxicated, and then deliberately choosing to operate a motor vehicle, resulting in a wreck that kills innocent, sober people is not murder. Two deliberate actions, both of which could have been avoided, shows a deliberate intent to violate law, and just like in a robbery, if someone dies in the commission of that crime, EVERYONE involved is guilty of murder.
Motor vehicles are becoming more and more common as terrorist weapons as well, with or without explosives. It's time to ban motor vehicles. Transportation deaths were far lower when we all depended on horses. Horses didn't have license plates hanging off their asses and didn't need overpriced insurance either.

Ummmmm, I think cell phones is right up there with booze/drugs in using an automobile as a murder weapon. I believe they lead the list as #1 cause of vehicular homicide in the under 30 group.

The Chinese can't do a LOT of things because the citizens aren't allowed to have guns ---- a lesson that is totally lost on loony dumbass U.S. liberals. The US murder rate is nearly 5 times higher than in China primarily because of easy access to guns.. I wonder if they've learned that lesson? What was the murder rate in China in 1948? And as long as you support China's policy you'd agree that illegal possession of firearms should result in a minimum punishment of 3 years in prison, with the maximum being the death penalty. I'd favor the death penalty for a felon in possession of a firearm, especially if he is involved in a felony. That would solve several other issues.

HELL NO....and in CA they should pass a law that anyone from CA has to have the gun for at least 3 years before firing it.
now down here in Florida, it is a right of passage for you to get your first .22LR at age 8-10 and your first shotgun at age 12.
