If he did, he would own a Glock 19 Gen. 4. Only pistol I will EVER carry. From now on. Anything else is simply a waste of time. I carry THIS Glock every day, every time I leave my house. G30S ........ much better than a puny 9MM. You will notice it has been modified by grinding off that stupid hook on the front of the trigger guard and smoothing the roughness of the grip in the hand web area. The 30S is more concealable as well.
I thought I had a photo of MY P-38, but I don't, so I'll put one up here a little later on.
This thread isn't about a pissing contest between guns. It was only meant to be a commentary on one particular gun. If you have another gun you want to wax poetic about, start your own thread and let's read it.
I didn't claim the P-38 is the best, or anything like that. It was simply a commentary about a particular gun I like. Why does everything have to turn into a war, or at least a skirmish?
Well at least you have enough sense to carry a Glock. I have 16 shots, how many did you say you have..?..

Well at least you have enough sense to carry a Glock. I have 16 shots, how many did you say you have..?.. It holds 10 +1 of .45 ACP. If the problem isn't settled after 11 bangs, a reload with 10 more should do it. If 21 hasn't done it, it's just not gonna be my day, and I should have brought my Mini-14 to the fight instead. It's not how many times you shoot -- it's how many times you HIT. I carry a Glock because you shoot it just like a revolver. If I could find an 11 shot .45 ACP revolver that was the same size, I'd carry the wheelgun. The 9mm is better for people who are recoil sensitive and don't like a hefty kick, I'll admit. But the .45 ain't bad when you get used to it, even in a light gun like a Glock..
Let me remind you that this thread is not about carry guns, different guns or different calibers ........... it is about ONE PARTICULAR PISTOL that I really like. You can always start your own thread about Glocks, and just Glock 9mm's if you want to get very specific.
If you haven't already, spend some quality time shooting and learning the P-38, then get back to me on it.

"If he did, he would own a Glock 19 Gen. 4. Only pistol I will EVER carry. From now on. Anything else is simply a waste of time." Oh, SNAP!!!
As long as you shoot straight, you can shoot alongside me with a 9mm, 10mm, .40, .45 Colt, or whatever.

Say WHAT? You load the thing, and then all you do is aim and pull the trigger. There are no stupid external safeties or other gadgets to worry about. Are you SURE you know something about guns?

Are YOU sure you know ANYthing about guns? Tell me what is different about shooting a Glock from shooting a D/A revolver. If you are using trigger cocking in the revolver, the Glock actually has the advantage due to a shorter trigger pull.
I said SHOOTING ............ not loading or reloading. What is different?
