That was one of the tougher losses the jackets have suffered in the last few years. A 3-1 lead after 20 that you couldn't hold. The pens were so good at forechecking all night long. It was tough to get control of the puck constantly. Real real tough.

It was tough to get control of the puck constantly. Real real tough. I have been on a plane all day so I didn't see the game but I am not surprised to hear the Jackets came out with a lot of jump. I am surprised to hear they blew a two-goal lead, though. After going down 2-0, you would imagine their psyche was already a little rattled. This just makes it that much worse.

This just makes it that much worse. btw werenski is out for the remainder of the season, whether it's 1 game or longer. facial fracture from that brutal puck shot deflection. broken bones in his face and he came back and played in the 3rd period, and would have kept playing except the swelling shut his right eye. even at just 19... a hockey player.

You see things in the SC Playoffs that would never occur in other sports. Playing with torn muscles, broken bones and back in the day, their head scrambled from a hit. The phrase, "he's a hockey player" is so very true but especially this time of year.
