Another good lesson here would be to ALWAYS keep your car in as reliable a condition as possible. Unless you're a convicted felon, there's no reason to not carry.

Radiator punctures are very rare. As for the states that choose to disarm law abiding citizens, pity the citizens... and remind me to stay away from those states. |

This is true, but sometimes you still can't avoid road hazards that puncture tires or radiators.
And some stupid states don't ALLOW the ordinary person to carry a loaded gun in the passenger compartment. That's why all my vehicles have hydraulic floor jacks in them. Most of the time wasted changing a tire is used on those crappy "jacks" that cars come from the factory with. $25 per car at Walmart is money well spent.

That will work wonders when you need to change a tire. A Glock will only get your flat tire 1" off the ground.

LOL Why, because I don't tote a floor jack in my vehicle..?.. I can stop, get out and have a tire changed and be back on the road in five minutes. Without having to use hydraulics. So can my wife and kids. What's the big deal about that..?.. . Anyway, changing a tire doesn't happen much round here. We all get new tires every two years. Regardless of if they are needed or not. I make sure of that. Tires are the only thing between you and the road... and everyone of us ( except for the wife ) is carrying a semi- automatic. Every person who is prepared is one less person who panics in a crisis. It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark, but when it BEGAN to rain, he didn't panic. |
