Not long after 9/11, local Rambos from several police agencies were practicing boarding oceangoing freighters and tankers in the Port of Baton Rouge for scenarios where they had been hijacked by terrorists.  I confronted the wannabes several times and asked them "How the f-word do you expect to get close to those ships in a Zodiac? Those goatherders with AK's will sink your rubber boats long before you get close to them."  
They huffed and puffed, and got their olive drab panties in a ruffle, but no one could answer my question.

When I attended WMD and HazMat training, it dawned on me ......... "If they REALLY want to get us, we are FUCKED."  The public has no idea how vulnerable the United States really is to terrorism.  And if they REALLY want to get us, the snowflakes' open border will allow them to bring all kinds of nasty stuff into the country.  The idea that a WMD is a big, bulky, ponderous item is pure bullshit.  A handful of ricin in a building's ventilation system can kill the entire occupancy of the building.
