[Editor’s note: This ‘tabletop exercise’ to plan the response to a nuclear attack on NYC is quite disturbing when one remembers that the US is currently beating the drums of war after allowing relations with nuclear armed North Korea and Russia to fall to all-time lows. Then there is the prospect of a terrorist attack using a nuke, perhaps a ‘dirty bomb’.

We must also recall that most false flag attacks, including 9-11, were drills that went live – they were pre-planned as a fake event designed to test emergency response but ended up being real events. This fact raises the disturbing notion that a nuclear event is being planned for NYC and doubtless, it would be blamed on someone other than the perpetrators – the finger of blame might be pointed at ISIS in order to justify a US return to war in the Middle East, or perhaps it would point at North Korea to justify Trump’s ‘Armada’ launching a strike on that nation.

Of course, it is likely that this is nothing more than a simple training exercise, but we think it is always sensible to take note of these events just in case they later become part of some nefarious false flag event. Ian]

A general alert is out for something major in the near or immediate future. Hopefully, it is just another false alarm, instead of another false flag.

Given all that is going on in the world, it is downright eerie to discover that the federal government is once again staging mock disasters that draw disturbing parallels with current world events.

In just a few days, during April 24-26th, Operation Gotham Shield will commence.

It is a tabletop, joint agency exercise involving FEMA, Homeland Security and a myriad of law enforcement and military agencies. WMD, chemical and biological units will all be on hand as a response is tested for a “simulated” nuclear detonation over the United States’ foremost urban center, in the iconic and densely populated island of Manhattan and nearby shores of New Jersey.

The potential for a more explosive false flag to spin out of control, by hijacking and ‘converting’ the simulated actions, is all too real.

This is closely related to the mechanism that many researchers believe was at work on the day of 9/11, nesting a false flag attack inside of a series of large-scale training operations which invoked emergency powers and simulated attacks in locations that were actually hit.

On April 18th thru May 5th, 2017, state, local, and federal organizations alike are planning for Operation Gotham Shield 2017 — a major nuclear detonation drill in the New York-New Jersey area, along with the U.S.-Canadian border. During this exercise, 4 nuclear devices, 2 of which are rendered “safe” during the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Vital Archer Exercise, and one successful 10kt detonation in the NYC/NJ area, along with one smaller detonation on the U.S./Canadian border are to take place.

Among the organizations involved are:

BTW, did you ever read up on all of the simulated disaster drills that occurred on 9/11, during the 9/11 attacks-- which were scheduled prior to 9/11?

WASHINGTON — In the two years before the Sept. 11 attacks, the North American Aerospace Defense Command conducted exercises simulating what the White House says was unimaginable at the time: hijacked airliners used as weapons to crash into targets and cause mass casualties.

One of the imagined targets was the World Trade Center. In another exercise, jets performed a mock shootdown over the Atlantic Ocean of a jet supposedly laden with chemical poisons headed toward a target in the United States. In a third scenario, the target was the Pentagon — but that drill was not run after Defense officials said it was unrealistic, NORAD and Defense officials say.

NORAD, in a written statement, confirmed that such hijacking exercises occurred. It said the scenarios outlined were regional drills, not regularly scheduled continent-wide exercises.

"Numerous types of civilian and military aircraft were used as mock hijacked aircraft," the statement said. "These exercises tested track detection and identification; scramble and interception; hijack procedures; internal and external agency coordination and operational security and communications security procedures."

A White House spokesman said Sunday that the Bush administration was not aware of the NORAD exercises. But the exercises using real aircraft show that at least one part of the government thought the possibility of such attacks, though unlikely, merited scrutiny.

On April 8, the commission investigating the Sept. 11 attacks heard testimony from national security adviser Condoleezza Rice that the White House didn't anticipate hijacked planes being used as weapons.

On April 12, a watchdog group, the Project on Government Oversight, released a copy of an e-mail written by a former NORAD official referring to the proposed exercise targeting the Pentagon. The e-mail said the simulation was not held because the Pentagon considered it "too unrealistic."

President Bush said at a news conference Tuesday, "Nobody in our government, at least, and I don't think the prior government, could envision flying airplanes into buildings on such a massive scale."

Actually, possible scenarios like this were commonplace for alert exercises during the Cold War.  We tested our ability to stop the attacks, and estimated the damage of casualties inflicted by the ones we could not "stop."

I personally don't see the loss of NYC as any major setback.  It's infiltrated with snowflake liberals, criminal gangs including MS-13, and is home to the international criminal Socialist gang known as The United Nations.   It WOULD bother me to lose police and firefighters, EMT's and other public safety professionals, but I hope they have shelters prepared well in advance.

Point of fact...NORAD didn't do a Pentagon attack simulation as they thought the possibility was "not realistic."  And none of the New York simulations were exactly as what actually happened on 9/11.

Three years ago Homeland Security did a practice simulation of terrorists capturing a barge on the Tennessee River and blowing up a dam and a bridge. The simulation occurred about 5 miles from me. At the time I was doing some volunteer work with the Emergency Management Agency in my county and we were part of the observation team. For five days and a couple of nights, a river barge tug and three barges were assaulted by FBI sniper teams, Navy Seals, Army helicopter gunships, and Coast Guard vessels as the "terrorists attempted to blow up a dam, and then a major bridge over the river. I still have the Homeland Security windbreaker they gave me to wear. We used my pontoon boat as a floating base to observe the exercizes. The cheapskate Feds wouldn't even pay for the gas.[/font
