Mutt wants to see concrete evidence that the Orthodox Church exists.
Boy, do I have some incredible concrete for Muttley...
Herewith...
Hagia Sophia/ The Church of the Holy Wisdom--Constantinople (6th Century A.D.)
The greatest cathedral in Christendom, and the largest dome in the world, for centuries-- almost 1,000 years older than the Renaissance era St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Certainly, one of the great architectural wonders in world history. (The minarets were Turkish-- post 1453.)
Built by the Orthodox Christian Emperor Justinian the Great in the 6th Century, Hagia Sophia was converted into a mosque after the fall of Constantinople to the Ottoman Turks in 1453, then converted into a museum by Kemal Attaturk in the 20th century.
The 6th Century Byzantine mosaic icons were covered with plaster by the Turks, but are now being restored.

The Church of St. Appollinare Ravenna, Italy 6th Century A.D.
Also built by the Roman Emperor Justinian the Great in the 6th Century A.D., in Ravenna, Italy. Ravenna was the Byzantine (Eastern Roman) capital of Italy, after the reconquest of Italy from the Ostrogoths by Justinian's General Belisarius. (The Ostrogoths conquered Rome in 410 A.D., almost a century after Constantine had established the new capital of the Roman Empire at Constantinople.)
(The Nazis used St. Appollinare as a military headquarters-- and motorcycle garage--during WWII.)

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem 326 A.D. The original Church of the Holy Sepulchre was built by the Roman Emperor Constantine in 326 A.D., and has been reconstructed and enlarged over the centuries.
It was confiscated from the Orthodox Church by the French (Roman Catholic) Crusaders, but was later restored to the Jerusalem Patriarch of the Orthodox Church by Sala'haddin.

The Church of St. John the Theologian on the Greek Island of Patmos. The ancient Orthodox church and monastery is built at the site of the cave where the Apostle John dictated the Biblical book of the Apocalypse (aka Revelations) to his disciple Prochorus.

Actually, Velveeta, it's the Apocalypse. What language was it written in, and why Patmos? I know it written in Koine Greek. It gets its name from the first word of the text, apokalypsis, meaning "unveiling" or "revelation". And it's known by several names incl the Book of Revelation, the Revelation to John, the Apocalypse of John, The Revelation or simply Revelation/Apocalypse, But as an AKA never RevelationS. The work itself is great allegory.
But the buildings of that era are marvelous. Though not spiritual to me, they are impressive to note in their construction and interior design.

I've never been to the Holy Land. I sent money to a monastery in Jerusalem-- the "Russian candle"--before it was confiscated by Putin and the Kremlin in 2007.
(Putin loves to steal real estate.)

What is all THIS shit? Of course that false church exists!! No one has doubted that. But it has NOTHING to do with the true teachings of God and Jesus Christ. Islam exists, too. So what?

Uh, Muttley, you demanded to see "concrete" proof that the Orthodox Church existed during the past 2,000 years. That's why I started this thread. (Most of the old threads here have been deleted.)
As for what you refer to as "the true teachings of God and Jesus Christ," how do you know what they are?
Where did you get you information?

I'm re-posting this Church history thread for the Reverend Muttley B. Nutsack.
Reverend Mutt still doesn't seem to have a clue about Christian history.

Tell him the truth man...you don't really want concrete evidence of a church....you, and all the rest of us, just want him to STFU...

All he ever throws out as "proof" is shit written by MEMBERS of that fake church. That's the same as MOOchelle writing that Barry the Fairy was a good president. Liars cover up for other liars.
