Never been done before. 16 and 0 is possible. The winning, it never gets old. Dubs, Cubs, Trump.

The Dubs (double ewes, Warriors, Golden State, etc.) They've aced the entire playoffs - never been done before in NBA history. They may very well ace the finals too.

Wow...You'd think one of those old Celtics teams would have done that...oh well, I guess we'll see. ALMOST makes a person want to root for them to be successful....almost.

Late 50s, I was a Celtic (Bob Cousy, Bill Russell, Tommy Heinsohn) fan. "With Bill Russell, the Celtics advanced to the 1957 NBA Finals and defeated the St. Louis Hawks in seven games, giving the Celtics the first of their record 17 championships." I figured they were the class of the league back then, and did kick some serious butt... I switched to the Lakers a few years later after watching Gail Goodrich with UCLA & then the Lakers. When I quit playing BB in HS, my fandom started dying down, & now I barely watch any games, especially the pros.

In the early years, when Cousy played, it would have been impossible to win 12 games in a row. They didn't play enough games. In 1960, for example, there was a best 2 of 3 to determine the eastern and western conference finalists, then a best of 7 to decide the two final teams and best of 7 for the title. So, a sweep in 1960 needed only 10 wins to clinch the title.
