[/i][/b][/quote] You must be stupid if you think you need to tell people to clean a gun from the chamber to the muzzle. Actually, I have no idea what you're trying to say. Why do you always feel the need to attack me about guns? I tried giving you a helpful tip and you go into smart ass mode. Time to re-up your nicotine levels.

Well sir, I was just trying to save other people from wasting money on unnecessary gadgets. That's a helpful tip, too.
It's not I who is stupid by worrying about protecting a muzzle crown while cleaning a gun, since that is NOT the way you clean a gun. With the proliferation of bore snakes, there is never a reason to clean a bore from the wrong end.

K.I.S.S.How do you get the cleaning rod in a Mini-14? You stick it in the muzzle first then screw on your attachments at the chamber end you moron. Of course you knew that because your so damned much smarter than the rest of us. Your insecurity/inferiority complex compels you to answer every gun thread with your 'expertise', never mind that some of us here have been using firearms since we were kids. BTW, I use Bore Snakes at the range and cleaning rods at home so take your pious know-it-all bullshit and shove back up your ass. Maybe you could put one of your cone washers in your ass to match your cone head. K.I.S.S. my ass you condescending cone-ass dipshit.

But seriously, why do you need a cleaning rod when you can use a snake from the chamber?
And to be truthful and transparent, I use a cleaning ROD inserted from the muzzle with no worry of damaging the crown. A brass bore brush won't hurt the steel, and it centers the cleaning rod in the bore. A nylon patch jag and tight fitting patches work the same way. Been cleaning my guns that way for 50+ years with nary a problem. I don't even own a bore snake!!!
I DO have a conical washer on my centerfire pistol cleaning rod, though.
I just like to be contrary.

Brainiac pushing all that crap into your receiver and at the same time compromising the most important part of the bore - the muzzle crown. Brilliant! Must be a confederate thing... Bravado at work yet again.

Bravado at work yet again. No compromise to the crown as I have already explained, and I disassemble my guns to clean out the works. Gunk gets into the innards from both ends. Yes, it's a Confederate thing. We Rebels know our guns are not clean until they are spotless EVERYWHERE! Yankees are lazy and have no respect for firearms.
Did I mention you have to take the gun apart to thoroughly clean it?

Well, the important thing is not how we clean our guns but that we have them to clean. Right! Carry on.

Gunowners ROCK ...... no matter what they have. Hell, even a HiPoint is reliable and accurate out to 10 yards -------- I guess. Never shot one, but that's what the reviews say. I'm sure it beats bare knuckles. 50,000 gang bangers can't be wrong.

NOT being a gun owner (if you are legally able to be) is unAmerican as far as I'm concerned. Who in their right mind...?
