I have finally found a great way to have my favorite pizza and not have all the mess! MOD Pizza is this new place here where you walk in, pick one out of 5 sauces and go from there on what toppings you want. You can make this thing 2" thick if you want! And they cook it in a wood fired oven. I love it!! Much better than any stuck in the mud Domino's or Pizza Hut or even frozen!
An 11" pizza is less than 8 bucks!
If you don't have one, look out, they are going to be the "go to"! You can even get beer or wine! Whoohoo!

No, but a very simple concept that reminded me of my experience in Italy. A little too "fast food" -ish, but excellent concept given where I was, a suburban shopping area in the OC. |

Here in SoCal, Mod is but only one of a few similar concepts, including Blaze Pizza and a few others.
The idea attacks the Dominos/PizzaHut/ Papa John model and IMO will kill them off eventually. Just a better product.
